Self-Aligning Spherical Washer, 3-piece set for one CBN Wheel

Some grinding wheels may experience slight side-to-side movement when mounted on a grinder. This wobble is often caused by uneven pressure from the shaft nut and can affect sharpening precision. If you experience this problem, these self-aligning Spherical Washers provide a simple, effective solution. Washers are NOT needed for 6" or 10" wheels.

The Spherical Washers act as a ball and socket to compensate for slight misalignment and to eliminate undue stress from the shaft nut. The hole size on this ball-and-socket set is slightly larger for efficient equalization. Please see photos for proper mounting. Sold as a set only with the ball and socket set and flat washer. This three-piece set is for one 8" CBN wheel, so if buying two 8" CBN wheels, you will need two sets.
