Sanding Discs

The Wonder Weave Pro Net Sanding Discs

We are excited to tell you about our brand NEW product: The world’s most innovative sanding disc. I like to call it our "Abranet" killer because it's mesh like the "other" popular abrasive BUT it's a fraction of the cost! In keeping with our mission of bringing you innovative products at affordable prices Woodturners Wonders  is pleased to be able to offer you this premium product. While Abranet typically sells for upward of .50 to .86 cents per piece our comparable product sells for as little as .11 cents for the 2-inch disc and .20 cents for the 3-inch disc.

The mesh is non loading in both wet and dry wood and is easy to clean with a blow gun. The special White Fused Aluminum Oxide (see below) is sharp, cuts really well, and will tolerate high temperatures. The velcro hook material is tightly bonded and will take a lot of abuse.

Check out our Sample Packages (scroll down the page): Our New Wonder Weave Pro Net 2-inch and/or 3-inch Sanding Discs - five discs each in 13 grits: 60, 80, 120, 180, 240, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200, 1500, 2000, 3000

1) Superior construction helps them hold up longer

2)  The cost is about 1/4 of what the competition charges for a similar product, and we think ours is better

3)  White Fused Alumina is hard and difficult to break making it effective as a fast material remover

4) It has a high melting point (2250 degrees) way more than necessary to prevent breakdown as easily as other types.

5) Works equally as well on inertia sanders, orbital sanders and drill type sanders

Ever hear the expression "sand like someone else is paying for the sand paper”?  Well that is easy to say and do if someone IS paying for the sanding discs, but that sure as heck doesn't happen in my shop. Turners have been asking me for a long time when I was going to get some sanding discs to go along with our great sanding pad holders. In keeping true to my mission of bringing you innovative products or saving you money on something you’re already using, I carefully researched and found these new sanding discs. These discs are lightly coated with aluminum oxide with ceramic particles mixed in, and have a latex paper backing for longer life, greater durability and flexibility. There is nothing innovative about them but for the money I think they are pretty darn good.

The grit is uniformly applied and holds together well. I’ve been testing them for awhile and I’m pretty satisfied with the results. They do a good job and hold up pretty well. I think they are as good as the "premium" brands that cost around 50 cents apiece. I would say the playing field just got leveled because these new discs are one-fifth the cost. If you get one 25-count package of each grit, in both sizes, that would be 16 packages in all and a whopping 400 sanding discs for $45.  OK - so maybe you can sand like I'm paying for it (at least a little) after all…

2” and 3” hook and loop discs
